The Safe School Climate Network is designed to support schools and districts committed to building safer, more connected, and more responsive learning environments. Through the SSCN, participating schools gain access to evidence-based student engagement programming that increases student roles and responsibilities in sustaining a safe school climate. The network also supports data integration through unlimited survey development, helping schools continuously gain insight into the emotional climate of their campus and better understand the needs of students, staff, and families.

SSCN participating schools receive access to university research-developed surveys, the Direction Survey platform, the PLUS Program, and ongoing professional development opportunities focused on the emerging risk factors impacting safe and supportive school communities. By bringing together professional learning, student voice, school climate data, and practical intervention resources, the Safe School Climate Network helps schools move from information to action with strategies that strengthen belonging, engagement, safety, and student well-being across the entire school community.
