DID YOU KNOW:
School leaders and administrators are scrambling for content that deals directly with COVID-19 and how teachers can deliver dynamic content that isn’t FEAR based to their students? In Part 2 of the kid-grit social emotional learning series, continue learning our holistic approach to SEL. We will deliver the ‘how to’ use the FREE educator guide KNOWLEDGE IS POWER for both on-line discussions and when we return to the classroom. We created a 5-10-hour activity guide in mindfulness, body awareness, community and connection, and digital and social media awareness. One more thing, feel free to engage staff with these same discussions and activities! This a great opportunity to help staff feel connected and cared for.
- Mindfulness:Self-Expression and Sharing Feelings For Peace Of Mind
- Body Awareness and Social Emotional Learning: Analyzing Germs and Breathing For Stress Regulation
- Connection, Empathy and Social Emotional Learning: Social Distancing
- Digital and Social Media Consciousness: Unpacking Fake News
All attendees receive a free downloadable PDF guide
This relevant guide will help students with questions about the pandemic crisis and is incredibly interactive! The guide also offers activities for family engagement. Whether you are teaching from your home or are looking for activities post-COVID 19, these interactive activities hold up post the Pandemic Crisis.
